Awesome . Best optimized system I have heard
I have returned higher priced home theater systems in the past month since I just wasn't happy with them . This piece from SOny is just aweseome. Couldn't be happier with the system. It has been engineered to give the best sound for both movies and music. I was stunned by the movie effects and even more stunned with the music I played from my iPod (plain direct connection using headphone cable) . Unbelievable quality. Nice looking and sounding stereo system
I bought this for my daughter. She didn't want a big hulky receiver, but she did want something "cute". This qualifies. It is small and sleed and goes great with the Sony Blu-Ray players. The speakers are small, but with the subwoofer, the system delivers good sound. Only complaint is that the iPod dock is extra and too expensive. .... Read more

Great for the price, but not perfect
I purchased this unit to complement a Sony Bravia TV I just purchased. I wanted an amp that could handle multiple HDMI inputs, reasonable 5.1 and was affordable as it would find its home in the family room. But the main reason I chose this one was its claim to work seamlessly with other Bravia units. I love this system! Sony sound system works great with Blu-ray player.
This sony sound system is great for what I need. Blu-ray movies sound really good on this system. It is less complicated than other sound systems that I looked at before buying this system.
