I am nothing but pleased with this system
It came quickly and in perfect condition. I did a lot of research before purchasing this item. I finally settled on this after reading the many glowing reviews here on amazon and elsewhere. The sound is amazing, especially for the price. This system, in my view, out performs many of the $1-3k range systems that I listened to in stores.
I'd recommend purchasing some 16 gauge speaker wire as the wires that come with the speakers are a bit on the thin side.

I am very satisfied with the product. It has excellent sound quality. It has 2 HDMI inputs and one output to interface with game systems, Blue Ray players, DVD players and HDTVs. (It's hard to find a complete sytem that has HDMI inputs.) The automatic audio setup helped to optimize the sound quality. It's an all around great buy. I only wish it came with a 5 disk DVD changer insted of the single disk player. .... Read more

onkyo ht-sp908 7.1 channel home theatre system
i purchased this from amazon and when i received it i said to my wife do she think i can install myself or hire a home theatre speacilits. well i hired the home theatre specialits boy was my wife right. it took 4hrs to install and when it was finished the system was spectactular. sounds better than the movie theatre and decodes all dolby formats with ease. my sister came over for a visit and was amazed by the sound when i played a blu-ray movie on my sony 550 player. now she wants a system like .... Overall, this is the best Home Theater System in a Box out there for the price.

* Runs a little warm
* Front, Center and Surround Speakers could be better (they require a lot of power)
* Only 2 HDMI inputs
