Best Home Theater System Tips – Get Off The Fence And Get It Started!

If you have been “sitting on the fence” regarding home theater and are waiting for prices to drop further, all I can say is… there has never been a better time than now! Prices have been decreasing steadily for a number of years and the thing to remember is that it can be built up over time; you don’t need to start off with the best entertainment system on the market.

How Much Can You Expect To Pay?

Realistically, you could get started for as low as $1000. You won’t get the best home theater system on the market but you will get started! A television, a DVD player and some speakers but you would have to be a very prudent second hand shopper. Or better still, for those who already have a TV, then for less than a thousand bucks, you’ll pick up a pretty handy set of speakers and DVD.

Between $3000-$5000

Let’s be honest, most people visualize home theater as something akin to having cinema under their own roof. That’s exactly how it should be. High cinema prices have been a big turn off in recent years plus you are in control of the system. So what can you expect to pay for a decent system? $3000-$5000 will get you a more than handy system. It will definitely get you comments from your friends.

Given that a larger portion of people will shop around the $3-$5000 price range means there is plenty of scope to pick up bargains so you’ll need to keep an eye on the sales pages. An LCD television, DVD player and sub-woofer will set you back about $1500-$2500 and this should leave you plenty of scope to shop around for a more than competent digital sound projector.

Working To A Budget

The best entertainment system on the market will cost you a minimum of six figures. What you need to realize is that unless you have an inheritance coming your way, then it’s ridiculous to put off getting a decent theater system because you think you have to have the best and most expensive brand products in your home. This is the reason why many people are left “sitting on the fence.” It’s the “when I win the lottery” mentality.

Start with a budget you can afford. $3000 is a great starting point and as explained earlier, will get you a handy system. Once you have the core products in place, then you can plan to expand. It’s not uncommon for some systems to take more than a year to come together.

Home theater can be treated as a project. You won’t start off with the best system on the market but you can get it started for a reasonably low cost. Isn’t it time you got off the fence and joined the revolution?

Review Cheap Home Theater Speakers

The home theater revolution is underway. With more people being in high stress jobs and life in general being somewhat stressful, it is more important than ever that the home is a place where a person can relax and escape their daily cares. That is why home theater systems are so popular in this era. They allow people to let go of reality for a time and refresh themselves so that they are ready to go out and tackle the day again.

A system that includes a cheap home theater speaker setup can be a cost effective means of creating that get-away that has become so important. Speakers are one of the most important aspects of an entertainment system but they are one place where it is possible to cut costs without compromising quality.

Stereo speakers are available in a vast array of sizes, prices and styles. They can be small and unobtrusive or big freestanding cabinet styles and a range of sizes and styles in between. There are wireless speakers and ones with wires. There are even speakers that go in a wall or on the ceiling.

For the person with plenty of space, a cabinet style speaker may be a great option. These larger speakers sit on the floor or on a shelf or can even be mounted to the wall in some instances.

For those who have limited space or simply want speakers that are not as noticeable, there are also some great, inexpensive options. Cheap in wall speakers are wonderful devices that mount flush with the wall. These allow a person to place the speakers out of the way, and one can even paint them the same color as the wall to make them blend in, or a contrasting color to make them pop out and show off their innovative ways. Cheap ceiling speakers are another way to save space. They mount on brackets that hang from the ceiling and can be swiveled around to face almost any direction the person wants.

Many of these speakers can also be hooked up to a computer system for those people who use their computer system as their home entertainment system. Many companies make cheap speakers that are versatile and work well to deliver quality sound from any source.

While audio quality is not something that one wants to compromise on when setting up a home theater system or for their music players, cheap speakers are not necessarily a compromise on quality. A little research can net a person some cheap speakers that offer great sound for very little money.

So, you are looking for a home theater projector?

I was in your position couple of months ago. I wanted a HUGE screen for my home theater in my living room to watch movies and play games.

It is difficult, and sometimes frustrating to decide which one is the right one. Isn’t it?

There are so many choices around and even after spending so much time researching, we just don’t know if the one we are looking would be the perfect one for us.

I did a few months of research, and ended up purchasing “Optoma HD72 720p DLP Home Theater Projector”. My main concern at that time was if “720p resolution” would be too soft and fuzzy. However, it turned out to produce a beautiful, crisp image that totally surpassed my expectation.

So, I wanted to share with you my review of “Optoma HD72 720p DLP Home Theater Projector” in this article.

Here is what I like about it:

It’s very quiet Colors look very natural (accurate) Image is bright (1600 lumens) Contrast is really good (4000:1 contrast ratio) Details can be seen even in dark areas Noise is barely detectable. You will only see a little in black. Covers all major inputs (1 HDMI, 1 Component, 1VGA, 1Svideo, 1,Composite)

The only thing I don’t like is that the zoom is limited. Though, is can be easily solved if you know exactly how far from the screen to put the projector. With about 9′ of throw distance, I’m getting a 79-80″ diagonal. It will provide very high quality image.

So, In summary I have agree with all the five star ratings this optoma home theater projector has received in various places.

If you are looking for an entry level projector of around the same price range, this “Optoma HD72 720p DLP Home Theater Projector” is for you. I consider the price for this model is a big selling point. We can’t find a better projector on the market for the same price. For under $1000, you really can’t go wrong with this model.

Wireless Home Theater – The Best Of The Best

The wireless home theater system is the greatest thing since the development of the home theater system itself. With wires and cables layered in the back of the media center, and running throughout the room while connecting all the speakers – wireless is the only way to go. Some of the new Magnolia lines in Best Buy stores have new speakers that are built directly in the walls or ceilings, which is one way to get rid of the lines and cords all over the floor.

Sony and Panasonic both have two good wireless systems available, but reviewers say that Digital Sound Projector by Yamaha is better. It has an amp and a multiple speaker system with an excellent surround sound, with the ability to add a microphone to set up the room automatically. Another system is the RCA wireless home theater system. The DVD player that hooks into the television is the main control unit. With a normal center and side speakers around the television, the subwoofer duals as a transmitter for the wireless rear speakers. Once the receiver is plugged into the opposite side of the room, the two rear speakers separately plug into the receiver.

Wireless home theater systems are fast becoming a great tool to have to entertain within the home. Having a large home theater option to come to and relax in just makes the hectic life that you live that much easier to deal with, without a ton of wire spread from speaker to speaker. If you are considering the purchase of a home theater system for your home, large, small, full room, or just an area, wireless is the best and only way to go for many reasons. If you are thinking about this option for your home, consider the advantages of wireless.

With all the choices able to be made today with home theaters, it just doesn’t make sense to willingly go with all those wires. A wireless theater set up is an ideal choice because it does not make holes in your walls. Of course, this is one of the advantages of the wireless – shear cosmetic reasons! Now, if you think about the advantages of wireless when working with the installation of your home theater, this would be even more advantageous to everyone involved. Consider the fact that we will also not have to drag wires through our home’s ceiling or worry about finding long enough cables. It is just much simpler. When it all comes down to it, we can work with AND use, a wireless theater system is that it is just plain cool to use.

As much as the home theater system costs, anything involved with is considered an investment. Installation of the wireless units is fast – much faster than with the wired ones. We could easily do the work our self, without requesting any assistance pf an electrician. A home theater works simply like a remote control would in a wireless situation. Of course, this can work for many options including the speakers and other sound related elements. If you are considering a home theater, now is the time to consider a wireless one – you will not regret it!

Most of the people want to just watch an entertaining movie after a hectic week’s work or even after a long day’s work. Going to the movies every now and then is not a hassle, but if you are a movie buff then you will be interested in watching movies quite frequently. Unless you have lots and money and time, seeing movie every now and then will be a costly affair and can sometimes even put a hole in your pocket. A home theater system is basically an assortment of electronic components arranged together to give you the best movie experience possible. Choosing the best home theater system needs careful planning and a wise decision and will not work out if you take a hasty decision. One must be careful in selecting the various components that can make the best home theater system. Before going for a home theater system, you must get your family’s permission, even more if it is to be placed in the living room or in a place where the entire family shares. The popular choices of home theater TV’s these days are the flat panel high definition TV or the plasma TV or the LCD TV. Of these, plasma TV’s are the best, as they are made for a large home theater set up.

The next important electronic device that you will need for watching digital movies at the comfort of your homes is the DVD player. Epson 8100 Powerlite Home Theater Review

If you’re looking for a home projector system, then the Epson 8100 Powerlite Home Theater is the perfect product for you. The amazing quality that is the selling point behind this projector, is how affordable it is for such a good quality projector. I bought my Epson 8100 Powerlite online. Wow. Did I find some amazing offers. It is exceptionally simple to find the perfect deal online.

Due to my sports-like fantasist attitude, I decided to get a projector. If I can’t go to the actual matches, I might as well have a larger-than-life representation. I wasn’t disappointed. Normally with a poor quality projector, you can see the fuzziness in the picture. This is crystal clear. Do you have blue-ray DVDS? It literally looks as though you’re watching a movie in the theater.

You’re not even limited to where you can put the projector. With my last projector, I once tried to use it in my living room. The picture was so soft, you could barely see anything. Not with the Epson 8100. I have it set up in my living room. Even during the day, the picture is clear, strongly in focus and extremely detailed.

When boosting the contrast and colour this mean machine can get up to 1800 lumens. Meaning that on a standard resolution of 1920×1080, you’ll get an almost LCD-like quality on your screen. Originally, when I set up the projector, it took a while to adjust the colour settings to suit the room I set it up in. Not with the Epson 8100 – within five minutes, I had the projector set up and ready to adjust.

The lamp which is unusually affordable retails at just under $300 giving you around 4000 hours when you use the Epson 8100 Powerlite Home Theater on the ECO mode. The only real difference between ECO mode and the normal mode is the fact that the light is cut out by almost twenty three percent. I use it quite easily on ECO mode and am just as happy with the picture quality.

If you’re worried about the noise level the projector makes then don’t be. On normal mode, the hum of the projector is just below a whispering level. On the ECO mode, the hum is barely even noticeable. For a first time purchaser or an experienced projector lover: the Epson 8100 Powerlite Home Theater is for you. With unlimited possibilities this projector is perfect for movies, sports and even games.
